HELENE NICOL

Since Helene graduated from film school she has worked constantly in the Australian film industry. Helene was for 17 years a partner in Great Southern Films, and is now a partner with Leanne Tonkes in The Guild and The Melbourne Production Services Company.

Helene has worked as a Producer on hundreds of television commercials, music videos and television projects. Both with her company’s own Directors, and with international productions visiting Australia to film.

While Helene knows Melbourne, her home town, inside-out, she has worked on projects that have filmed in all Australian States and Territories. And has spent many shooting days in the Australian outback. She has also worked in many European and Asian locations, so she understands what you need from a service company.

Helene is currently on the Board of Ausfilm and was the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) Commercials Producer of the Year in 2001.
